Fenty Skin – Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream ($40)

I have been using the other Fenty skin products for a few months now and I’m happy with them. The Fenty Skin Start’rs are all very hydrating, lightweight, and give your skin a glow that you won’t forget. I expect no different from the Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream. Rhianna says that she wanted a night cream that would reset her skin and relieve it from all the stress of the day so that you wake up fresh, nourished and glowing. Some of the benefits of Instant Reset are that it instantly hydrates, reduces the look of fine lines, wrinkles, pores, and dark spots. Instant Reset will be a great addition to the Fenty Skin line!

Kalahari Melon Oil – Hydrates and is rich in antioxidants.

Hyaluronic acid & Aloe – Soothes, conditions, and hydrates skin.

Niacinamide – Reduces the look of dark spots, evens skin tone, and fights shine.

The Lip Bar – Caffeine Concealer ($15)

The Lip Bar known for the “Five Minute Face” and vegan lip products has dropped their very first concealer. I don’t think you can ever have too many concealers! You need your super coverage concealers for your full-face days, and your light concealers for natural makeup days, I think this may be the one for you natural days.

According to thelipbar.com, this concealer has a sheer, buildable coverage that’s easy to blend. Caffeine Concealer is a self-setting, brightening concealer with a quick and easy application. Just put few dabs to your under eye with the doe-foot applicator, then blend and pat with your ring finger. The Caffeine Concealer is infused with caffeine, which helps hydrate and smooth under eyes.

Caffeine: Reduces the look of puffiness and dark circles.

Product Review: Fenty Skin

Fenty Skin – Start’rs Full Size Bundle ($75)

I have been waiting on this drop ever since the launch of Fenty Beauty back in 2017. When I received an email from Fenty Beauty with the pre-order dates I added them to my calendar immediately! I did not want to miss this launch!

As you may know Rihanna is definitely a beauty and fashion icon known for her beautiful, glowy skin. Rihanna expanding Fenty Beauty, and adding a skincare line was very much anticipated.

There are many things that I love about Fenty Skin. For starters, all Fenty Skin products are 2-in-1’s. That means less products for your skincare routine! Also, the packaging is 🔥. The packaging has very soft tranquil colors, pretty to look at, and is recyclable. Fenty Skin products are:

Cruelty-Free . Vegan. Gluten-Free. Non-Comedogenic

Fenty Skin Routine

Step 1: Cleanse -Total Cleans’r (cleanser & makeup remover)

Step 2: Tone – Fat Water (toner & serum)

Step 3: Hydrate & Protect – (moisturizer & sunscreen)

Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r earned 4/5 Lips. Total Cleans’r is a cleanser that also doubles as a long wear makeup remover. Although this is a makeup remover and cleanser all in one I still prefer to use a makeup remover before cleansing just to be sure that I get everything. Total Cleans’r lathers up without the feeling of stripping or drying out your skin, and it also has a nice faint cherry scent.

Barbados’ Cherry – Loaded with Vitamin C and helps brighten skin.

Ginkgo Biloba – Helps to control oil & clarify skin.

Fenty Skin Fat Water A 2-in-1 toner/serum, Fenty Skin fat Water is my least favorite product in the skin line. I gave this product a 3/5 Lips because I didn’t experience any skin detoxing or pore refining from the Fat Water. However, it is a nice product to add after cleansing. Fat Water has a watery jelly texture that glides right on your skin and gives it an instant glow.

Japanese Raisin Tree – Helps to detoxify

Australian Lemon Myrtle & Witch Hazel Water – Helps to reduce oil and refine pores.

Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor is my favorite Fenty Skin product and I gave it 5/5 Lips. Hydra Vizor is a very smooth moisturizer/sunscreen 2-in-1. This hybrid is lightweight, blends right in, good for all skin tones, and includes SPF 30. Did I mention the yummy scent?

Kalahari melon – A wild watermelon that’s rich in antioxidants and vitamins; helps hydrate

Niacinamide (a form of Vitamin B3): Helps reduce the look of dark spots, even skin tone, and fight excess shine

Bottom Line: Fenty Skin is a great skincare with a really simple routine, especially for someone who is new to skincare or might just want a quick everyday routine with minimal products. I love the cleanser and moisturizer, I’m not too crazy about the Fat Water but they all work great together and I would recommend.

Product Review: Drunk Elephant – T.L.C. Happi Scalp Scrub

Drunk Elephant – T.L.C. Happi Scalp Scrub ($36)

I have been spending a lot of extra time nursing my curls so I can finally make it to my #hairgoal which is waist-length. I know that keeping a clean, healthy scalp is a major key to having beautiful, healthy hair, so I decided to give this product a try.

Bottom Line: This scrub is perfect someone who suffers from an itchy scalp or has any product buildup. It leaves your scalp squeaky clean, while keeping it nourished & balanced.

Product Review: Milk Makeup Blur Stick

Milk Makeup – Blur Stick($36)

Milk Makeup’s Blur Stick is the first product that I have tried from the Milk Makeup line and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised!  I’ve never been a big fan of primers in general, but as you know I love to try any new beauty products.

I gave this 5/5 Lips because this primer really did its job and kept me matte all day. It glides on pretty easy and gave me a smooth, flawless canvas to apply my makeup. I love that it is colorless & odorless, Milk Makeup is also Cruelty-Free, Paraben-Free, 100% Vegan.

The only con is that I did not like how bulky the stick… while trying to prime it does not fit into all the small nooks in crannies in your face, but they do offer a mini version if you are interested.

Bottom Line: I  did like this product and I would recommend this to someone with oily skin.
