Some days you wake up & A) Don’t have the time to apply a full face or B) You’re just not in the mood to do all the extra. I’m giving a few tips on keeping a beautiful radiant complexion even when you’re serving a natural slay, because beautiful makeup always starts with beautiful skin!
Stay Hydrated!
Drinking water helps to replenish your skin’s tissue & increases its elasticity, so make sure that you are drinking at least 8 – 8 oz. glasses of water a day to stay hydrated from the inside out! If you find it hard to drink water try infusing your water with some fruits or veggies that are packed with water or just add the fruits and veggies to your diet.
Here are a couple fruits/veggies that are packed with water:
watermelon
cucumber
iceberg lettuce
tomatoes
strawberries.

Get a Routine Going!
Make sure that you have a Daily Skincare Routine that you are following!
cleanse – makeup removal (If you wear makeup use makeup remover for cleanse #1)
cleanse – cleanser
exfoliate – toner
moisturize – serum/moisturizer
prep – makeup primer
Protect Your Skin!
Be sure to wear a hat or visor anytime you are enjoying time outdoors.
Wear sunscreen & reapply sunscreen
Treat Your Skin!
Mask: Masking once a week is really important, depending on how my skin is that is how I decide what mask I what to use (detoxifying, moisture, oil control, brightening). Sometimes when I have a little extra time I might even whip together a DIY mask.
Facials: Treat yourself to facial at a spa! Facials can run you a pretty penny, but if you find a local beauty/ skincare school most times they have offer facial services at a discounted price.
Exfoliate: make sure to exfoliate 1 – 2 Times per week. Exfoliating is important because it helps to remove the barrier of dead skin cells clogging the skin and uncovers fresh new cells below. I usually exfoliate on days that I am also masking to give my skin an extra special treat.
